What is it?
Creatine is a naturally-occurring substance, found in both food-sources (such as fish, eggs and meat), and made within the body. Creatine is converted to creatine phosphate, which is involved in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), an important energy source for muscle contraction.
What is the benifit to the end user?
Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts in short term, high intensity exercise. It is one of the most widely-researched performance-enhancing supplements, with results repeatedly suggesting improvements in power output, high-intensity exercise capacity and lean body mass gains during training.
